Project
Wells Fargo
The Wells Fargo Plaza is a 71-floor skyscraper located in downtown Houston. The tenant occupied building needed their existing cooling equipment replaced. The team at MLN Special Projects began by installing isolation valves on the condenser water supply and return. This allowed isolation, demolition and the installation of new cooling tower cells.
MLN demolished the cooling tower cells, existing grillage and electrical service to the existing cooling equipment. After demolition, MLN installed five new Marley Cooling Tower cells, reconnected water lines and water piping and wiring and conduit for electrical service. MLN also provided Computrols that are connected to an existing BAS system and installation of a fire protection system for the cooling towers. This piping will be connected to the existing fire protection piping of the building’s roof.
