University of Houston, Law Center

MLN Construction has been awarded the University of Houston’s new John M. O’Quinn Law Building that will reside in the northeast corner of the central campus between the University Loft dorms and the current Law Center facility. The $93 million high-tech complex is designed to enhance the educational experience while also serving as a hub to engage and serve the public. It is planned as a cross-disciplinary facility with the latest technology and flexible space to enhance the educational experience for students and faculty. It will have modern technological capabilities to provide opportunities for greater interaction on the local, national and international level. Construction began in 2021 and is due to be compete in August 2022.

MLN’s scope of work is for the Plumbing portion of the project. MLN’s Business Development Representative, Jason Pierson, worked closely with Shepley-Bulfinch Architects, Shah Smith & Associates Engineers, and Austin Commercial to secure the project. MLN’s Construction Operations team is led by Mike Bradby and supported in the field by Kyle Woodfill will work to complete the construction event on behalf of MLN.
