Memorial Hermann Southwest Heart & Vascular

The Heart & Vascular Institute is a 200,000-square-foot facility located on Memorial Hermann’s Southwest campus.

The facility comprises a non-invasive diagnostic center, five catheterization and electrophysiology labs, and four operating suites. The mechanical system includes a 1,050-ton central plant. As with many of MLN’s health care projects, the facility presented a challenge with a fast-track scheduled completion of 16 months. A full-service kitchen and two operating rooms were added to the scope of work during the last phases of the project, with no time added to the schedule. The scope of work was completed on time.
