Project
MD Anderson South Campus Vivarium
To serve the expanding research facility of MD Anderson, a 65,000-square-foot warehouse building was converted into a sophisticated vivarium, designed for keeping and raising animals for observation and research.
The project included the addition of a major new utility building, second-level interstitial space and state-of-the-art HVAC and plumbing to ensure the health and safety of research subjects. The build-out included cage areas, cage washing and sterilizing equipment, labs and procedure rooms.
