TAMU R.A. “Murray” Fasken Indoor Track and Field Facility

MLN Fire Protection proudly delivered the comprehensive fire protection system for this state-of-the-art collegiate track and field facility. The facility comfortably seats 4,000 spectators overlooking a permanent, banked oval track with up to 12 degrees of slope. The track was installed by a specialized crew from Italy. This venue is designed to host major championship events like the Southeastern Conference and NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. The building’s hollow steel construction posed unique engineering challenges. MLN Fire Protection partnered closely with the design and engineering teams to create innovative support solutions for plumbing and fire systems, ensuring full code compliance and structural integrity. The result is a high-performance, seamlessly integrated fire protection system that supports the safety, functionality, and world-class standards of this premier athletic venue.
