Texas A&M, Electron Beam Facility

Even with a robust maintenance program, operating mechanical units will eventually break down. MLN Service was engaged directly by Trane on the TAMU campus. The project was necessary when two Dunham Bush chillers failed and were replaced on separate occasions at the Electron Beam facility with two Trane, 180-ton and smaller 70-ton EBEAM chillers. The air-cooled units were replaced one at a time to ensure the entire facility remained open during the replacement project. MLN Service provided the mechanical piping, crane service, electrical, and pipe insulation for the project.
