Harris County Annex 18

MLN’s Service group participated in the inspection of the chilled and hot water piping of the four-story Harris County Annex 18 building. The project included staging and protection of existing floors during the work period. (How long was the work period?) This project was performed over a 60-day period.

The entire office facility was able to remain open during the construction project. The MLN Service Company removed all the asbestos insulation off all the chilled water and hot water piping. They tested and inspected all the chilled water piping and removed all the hot water piping, steam and condensate lines and re-insulated all chilled and hot water piping in the building. MLN also installed labeling, flow direction arrows and repaired stairwell walls to fire code and sealed pipe penetrations of each floor in the building. A leak test was conducted and an inspection report was submitted at the completion of the project.
