Project
Memorial Hermann, Pearland Expansion Project
The new acute care hospital includes 64 patient beds (expandable to 128), an intensive care unit, operating rooms, cardiology suite and catheterization labs, medical/surgical units, women’s and neonatology services, a business and conference center, a full kitchen and retail server, a pharmacy, and a central plant. The new bed tower integrates with the existing convenient care center providing a seamless transition of patient services. Because the new building was constructed adjacent to an operating facility, our efforts during construction focused on minimizing disruption to existing clinic operations. The new facility allows patients to remain in Pearland rather than travel to Clear Lake or the Texas Medical Center for inpatient services.
