Houston Community College System
The Special Projects team is provided HVAC to the learning hub of the Eastside Campus of HCC Southeast for the new Student Life and Workforce Building. Work included construction of two separate one-story buildings totaling approximately 44,448 square feet. The 26,111 square foot workforce building houses a faculty office suite, a student break area, general classrooms, a computer demonstration area, welding lab, HVAC lab, and an industrial automation/electrical lab.
The 18,337 square foot student center houses student government and organizations, offices for the center coordinator and the sports programming director, tutoring, a student lounge and gaming area, a student activities room and a future food court.
