Project
3009 Post Oak
MLN’s Mechanical Construction Group recently completed the first new speculative Class A office building to be built in the Galleria area in 30 years.
The 20-floor, 302,000 square-foot building is pre-certified LEED Platinum and features floor plates that maximize efficiency and a premier location at Post Oak Blvd and Hidalgo.
Unlike other buildings in the area, 3009 Post Oak Boulevard provides efficiencies that create a first class work environment for tenants as well as financial savings for employers. The 9’6″ floor-to-ceiling glass on tenant floors and the spectacular 18-foot glass curtain wall in the lobby allows for natural day lighting, creating a bright and enjoyable workplace. Designed with sustainability in mind, the building will support tenant success through lower operating costs, improved indoor air quality and increased employee productivity.
MLN’s scope of work includes the HVAC system, Sheet Metal, and Building Automation System. MLN’s Kenny Callihan worked with Kirksey, Wylie, and Skanska to complete this project in 2013.
