MLN’s newest venture, a Fire Protection Division, was created to round out our mechanical services to fully embrace our clients’ needs with the convenience and security of working with one company. As with our HVAC and plumbing services, MLN’s fire protection team offers design/build assistance, prefabrication, and installation.

Our designers are NICET certified and up-to-date with current codes and standards in order to design a comprehensive fire protection system meeting local and state codes. They attend NFSA, NFPA, and AFSA  classes and are also required to seek continuing education in sprinkler systems to be proficient in new innovations for the fire protection industry.

Full Design Capabilities, Building Unique Systems From Conception to Reality

Utilizing Cad-based software, our designers are able to provide fire protection systems designed to meet the demands of unique architectural ceiling features in conjunction with required codes. Through our Cad-based software, we provide efficient layout and sizing of the systems through computer-generated hydraulic calculations based on available water supplies.

We install the following types of fire protection systems:

• Wet pipe sprinkler systems
• Dry pipe sprinkler systems
• Pre-action sprinkler systems
• Standpipes
• Fire pumps
• Water storage tanks for fire protection
• FM/Ecaro suppression systems

Our HVAC and plumbing divisions are at the forefront of BIM and 3D coordination in the Houston market; with the addition of fire protection, MLN can now offer a fully integrated coordination before plans are issued to the field.
